Laser Europe Conference - BMLA 2021
The 2021 Annual Conference & Educational Courses in association with the European Laser Association was held virtually via a bespoke digital platform on Thursday 6 to Friday 7 May 2021. The Pre-conference Educational Courses were also held virtually as part of the annual meeting, with the pre-recorded material for the five courses being released on the platform for registered delegates to access from 22 April 2021. The Educational Courses including Q&A sessions, were available for delegates to watch on-demand for 1 week after the live event. The majority of the conference recordings (unless otherwise requested by the presenters) were made available on-demand for 3 months post event (until 6 August 2021). On-demand registration was introduced this year and will remain open until 23 July 2021.
The conference was a huge success, ran with minimal hitches and delivered a high quality, evidence based, scientific programme for the medical and aesthetic laser community, with over 50 expert speakers during 20 live sessions.
The scientific programme was packed with high quality content delivered by leading experts in Lasers, Aesthetics, PDT, regulation and training in the COVID-19 era, dentistry, new developing treatments. As expected, the Great Debate and My Problem Page sessions were the most popular both in terms of live and on-demand views – great interaction was registered between the panellists sparked by pertinent questions from delegates sent in via the Q&A functionality of the platform.
