Tom is a clinical scientist specialising in non-ionising radiation physics at the Royal Berkshire Hospital. For over a decade he has worked as a specialist in skin and ENT laser treatments, with involvement in clinical delivery and development of treatments. Dr Lister’s field of work as an expert witness includes medical and aesthetic laser treatments. He is a certificated Laser Protection Adviser covering all areas of medical lasers. Dr Lister is a member of BSI’s EPL/76 group ‘optical radiation safety and laser equipment’, and is also vice president of the British Medical Laser Association (BMLA).

Dr Raman Bhutani is a consultant dermatologist at Salford Royal NHS Trust and has special interests in medical dermatology, lasers and medical education. He is also co-lead for undergraduate dermatology training at SRFT and The University of Manchester. Dr Bhutani is also Honorary Treasurer of the BMLA.

Claudia I.M. van der Lugt MD, started her private clinic, Alizonne, in 1997, focusing on non-invasive treatments for face and body rejuvenating, applying multiple lasers, LED, ultrasound, RF and other EBD. She developed “The Alizonne Therapy” (body contouring weight reduction) and a laser treatment for removal of permanent fillers when complications occurred. Claudia moderates the laser, light & EBD course for the Dutch Society for Cosmetic Medicine at a University in the Netherlands and is Founder of the Dutch Aesthetic Laser Association, DALA, and honourable member of the BMLA.

Rafael Serena, MD licensed in Medicine and Surgery at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He is the Medical Director of Serena Clinic in Barcelona, Spain, with experience for more than 25 years at the aesthetic medicine and surgery field. www.serenaclinic.com He is President of the SELMQ the Spanish Society of Surgical Medical Lasers and a member of many professional organizations including the European Society for Laser Aesthetic Surgery and the International Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgeons. He is Director of the Master: Laser and Energy-Based Devices in Dermatoesthetics of the Official General Medical Council of Barcelona (COMB) and Master in Laser in Medicine and Surgery, fundamentals, and applications by the Rovira and Virgili University (URV). Additionally, R. Serena MD has authored or co-authored several journal articles, has written his first book “The Art of Rejuvenation, Botox our Ally”, Ed Amat and has made many national and international medical presentations. He is member of the Spanish Botulinum toxin Advisory Board. Belongs to the Advisor Board of the University Autonomus of Barcelona (UAB) and Editorial Board Member of Photonics & Lasers in Medicine of De Gruyter editorial.

Graduated in 1983 as a Medical Doctor at The National University of San Marcos and later assimilated into the Peruvian Navy. Since 1987 in constant training and development in laser medicine, having completed in 2017 the Master in Laser and Phototherapy in Dermato-aesthetic Pathology at the University of Barcelona. Currently, General Director at Clínica Chávarri, a leading institution in laser medicine in Peru and President of the Peruvian Laser Association – APLAMEQ.

Harry Moseley

Now semi-retired, Professor Moseley still has an active interest in biophysical aspects of lasers and ultra-violet radiation. He continues to provide laser treatment at a private clinic and acts as independent expert in medico-legal cases involving laser treatments. He is a Board Member of the European Laser Association.
